Practices will look like this:

Tuesdays
Location:Upper School 3:15pm-5:30pm
Focus: Cases, blocking and argumentation
Description:
* Students should come with laptops, or other note-taking devices.
* Bring flows from previous tournaments on the topic.
* Bring ideas for new cases/arguments.

Wednesdays
Location:Middle School 4:00pm-5:30pm
Focus: Novices/non-experienced/first-year debaters
Description:
* Students should come with laptops, or other note-taking devices. The final date for new members to join the team prior to winter break is: October 7, 2009. The final date for new members in after winter-break is January 20, 2010.
* All debaters should have a folder specifically for debate. If you have access to a laptop you should bring that too.

Thursdays
Location:Upper School 3:15pm-5:30pm
Focus: Speaking, Drills, Practice Debates
Description:
* Students should bring all flows for rebuttal redos.
* Preflows of affirmative and negative cases.
* Printouts of affirmative and negative cases – even if you typically use a laptop.
* All of your debate materials.
* If you are not prepared to debate, there is not really any need for you to come. (the only exception is first year debaters who would like to observe)
